The audience feedback received was good. The filter of the older footage was praised along with our choice for location. Both the scenes outside and the studio were praised and the video was seen to look "very proffesional" which was very encouraging.

Mid-production Audience feedback 2
This time, we had all of our footage on our timeline and were able to get proper feedback from our classmates; unlike last time when we just had the band performance. Last time, our classmates complained about the lack of narrative. This time they believed that our narrative was really good and funny, but was also very clear and apparent. They also liked our camera work, and believed we had more variation as compared to last rough-cut viewing. Both groups also scored us highly in terms of whether it seemed like a music video or not. The scores have gone up since our last rough cut.
However we did receive some criticism from our classmates. They saw the rewind section of our music video to make little sense, as it didn't cut on the beat and neither did reflect the genre. The other group suggested that we should have more shots of the band as it was a bit repetitive having continuous shots of Sam. However, there was a debate to whether a colourisation worked. Some said that it made it boring, whilst the others believed that the it worked well with the genre.
Since we received this feedback, we have deleted the rewind section and have edited the footage that was not on the beat.

Audience Feedback response
Today, we showed our work to our classmates to get feedback on our music video. The responses were mixed, most were middle of the road responses, suggesting we have the performance and editing element, but could do with more locations and our narrative footage. We have not yet managed to film our narrative footage, as we aim to film it over half-term, so this has effected our score. Most of our class, said the music video would be more appealing to them with narrative, and had we have had it filmed and edited today, our score would have been higher and our video would have made more sense. We aim to listen to the feedback, and take action as to gain the highest mark possible, come the end of the school year. We felt we needed to re-film some of the band scenes, and this has become apparent today, as we lack pace and variety of shots of Sam (the lead-singer). By re-filming, we will aim to gather more shots to make the video more interesting.
Some of our class, pointed out the fact that the band remain in the same location during performance and would like a change of location. Although, this is possible, it is not necessarily a convention of rock music videos, as band tend to play in the same location. However, we are not ruling out a second location for the band to play at.

Audience research video
We we can gather from our audience feedback:
- Our audience would like to see the band playing, with close-ups to the instruments.
- They don't expect for our video to be soft.
- They don't expect a narrative that focuses on romance.
- They expect for there to be a high amount of energy in the performance.
- They expect a laddish performance.
- They expect the visuals to match the meaning and emotion of the song.
- They expect cuts between the narrative and the band playing.
- Some of our audience believe that a serious music video would be better, as it enables for the band to get their meaning across to their audience.
- Some of our audience would also like to see some light-heartedness, as to keep them entertained.
- They want the performance to be emotive and energetic.
- They also expect for their to be a story as part of the narrative to the video.
- Some of our audience believe that the band should be seen between rarely and frequently, as they saw that a story would help captivate the audience.
- Some of our audience believe that the band should play frequently, as they suggest that the genre requires for the band to be shown, as it conveys their musical talents.

Target Audience
Our target audience will be predominantly teenagers of both genders and young adults. This is due to our genre and the persona we are creating for the band; fun and carefree. We may have a secondary audience of people aged between 25-35, but our teenagers and young adults are our main focus. Although rock is more popular amongst males, as most rock bands are all male, we feel that indie rock is gradually becoming more popular amongst females. Although most women normally prefer pop music, we feel that the tone and performance in our music video will help attract their viewings. Our easy-going persona of the band will relate to most teenagers, as they want to be able to connect with the band and not get involved in hard to follow narratives, that they will have to think about whilst watching our video. We feel that it would be harder to connect with an older audience, as they will not particularly understand our narrative and will not understand the persona of the band.
